  9.      ppmpat - make a pretty pixmap

  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      ppmpat -gingham2|-g2|-gingham3| _✓w_✓i_✓d_✓t_✓h _✓h_✓e_✓i_✓g_✓h_✓t

  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      Produces a  portable  pixmap  of  the  specified  width  and
  16.      height, with a pattern in it.
  17.  
  18.      This program is mainly to demonstrate  use  of  the  ppmdraw
  19.      routines,  a  simple  but powerful drawing library.  See the
  20.      ppmdraw.h include file for more info  on  using  these  rou-
  21.      tines.   Still,  some  of the patterns can be rather pretty.
  22.      If you have  a  color  workstation,  something  like  ppmpat
  23.      -squig 300 300 | ppmquant should generate a nice background.

  25. OPTIONS
  26.      The different flags specify various different pattern types:

  28.      -gingham2
  29.           A gingham check pattern.  Can be tiled.
  30.  
  31.      -gingham3
  32.           A slightly more complicated gingham.  Can be tiled.
  33.  
  34.      -madras
  35.           A madras plaid.  Can be tiled.
  36.  
  37.      -tartan
  38.           A tartan plaid.  Can be tiled.
  39.  
  40.      -poles
  41.           Color gradients centered on randomly-placed poles.  May
  42.           need to be run through _✓p_✓p_✓m_✓q_✓u_✓a_✓n_✓t.

  44.      -squig
  45.           Squiggley tubular pattern.  Can be tiled.  May need  to
  46.           be run through _✓p_✓p_✓m_✓q_✓u_✓a_✓n_✓t.

  48.      -camo
  49.           Camouflage  pattern.   May  need  to  be  run   through
  50.           _✓p_✓p_✓m_✓q_✓u_✓a_✓n_✓t.

  52.      -anticamo
  53.           Anti-camouflage pattern - like -camo, but  ultra-bright
  54.           colors.  May need to be run through _✓p_✓p_✓m_✓q_✓u_✓a_✓n_✓t.

  56.      All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest  unique  pre-
  57.      fix.
